Well the picture above is the first time I realized that I was starting to like this guy, but that was definitely not the first time we ever met.  I started working at Stafford Middle School in Jan. of 2006.  It was my first teaching job and I was very excited to get started.  On the first days of school I decided to eat in the teachers lounge to try and meet some of the people at the school.  There wasn’t any room at the table so I sat on the couch, which I was about to find out was not a good thing.  A few minutes later this guy walks in with a scowl on his face and says "Hey Rookie, GET UP!!  U ARE IN MY SEAT!!!"  Yep, you guessed it.  It was Garrett.  All I could think is "WOW, what a jerk!!"  And that was pretty much all of the interaction we had until the last day of school.  As I was walking out of the doors for the summer, Garrett and Crocker come around the corner and he puts his arm around me and so sweetly tells me to have a good summer.  Definitely not the guy I met in the teachers lounge.  This moment of sweetness obviously sparked my interest, but that summer I found out he had a girlfriend.  A few months later it was school time again and we had a middle school retreat where the teachers met at a resort in north Houston.  It was like the moment he walked in we immediately started talking and we were pretty much inseparable after that.  As time went on I started to like him but he still had a girlfriend, so I just tried to be a good friend to him.  As that relationship came to a close, I knew there was something between us.  Everyone knew there was something between us.  Even our students would ask if we were together.  Well, we officially started dating Jan. 28 2007 and It has been the most amazing and wonderful time of my life.  I waited a long time to find the right guy for me and I finally found him
